Disconnected
Children are like a pendulum they move back and forth until a source of energy pulls and pushes them to their at most maximum or minimum. Weather or not any of us want to admit it we are the result of our surroundings. Some of us are clever enough to know right from wrong while others were never taught how to identify the difference.
Growing up in an environment full of hatred inside and outside of the home results in a build up of hatred inside of every innocent child that observes the life they are forced to accept. Hatred results in a careless attitude, something that lingers in ones soul up until adult hood. To call this hating of the world is not satisfactory, it is hatred of ones self.
Growing up in a place where even the closest of friends are more distant than a third cousin, shows how disconnected the 21st generation is from one another.
Why is it when I look into someones eyes they are quick to look away? and yet we all have the ability to keep our eyes on our computer screens and cell phones.
Sometimes I ask myself, why do I bother
